Full Retail Price for the Evo?

Sorry to make a new thread, but could someone link something confirming the actual retail price for the EVO? I only been with Sprint about 3 months so I'll have to pay full price.

I keep reading people say it is 450$ but then the lady at best buy said it was going to be 600$, just trying to figure out if anything has been made official as far as price, rebates or anything like that for those of us that have to pay full price.

Wow that's kind of lame to be that drastically different.

Anyhow, thanks for the info, I'll swing 450$ on it if that's all I have to pay...If its only 450 AFTER 100$ rebate or something, I may bow out and just wait a while.

depending on what kind of phone u have, u can make some of it back. im selling my hero to cover some of mine.

I have a hero as well, only about 2 months old since I had the Pre first.

Not sure how much I could get for it tho since they are dirt cheap now.

Best thing to do is get on of those I/O early version if you have to pay full price. i have bought 1 for 450 that got here yesterday and have another on the way tuesday for 470 which came out cheaper than if i waited cause if i bought retail i would have had to pay tax. If you get on ebay you can get lucky or put up an ad in SF CL and theres alot there.

on sprints site it doesnt have the exact price. at least i dont remember seeing it.

you just have to be patient. and keep refreshing the newly listed. some people are not trying to make a ton of money one them and list them for buy it now in the 400-500 price range. someone on here even got one for 300 bucks. I got one of mine on there for 450 and i also have seen about 4 or 5 others go for the 400-500 buy it now price.

I'm curious to see if any of us have any luck with pricematching. I know that Best Buy is usually good about it, but I've never tried with something like this. I'm prepared either way, but I'd love to save some money on tax.

There was a flyer around somewhere that listed the EVO's price as $450 off contract. It was a sprint flyer. I really wish I could find it so I could bring it with me to BB the morning I go to pick up my phone. I'm certainly not paying them $600 for it. I'll raise hell till they refund my gift card if they refuse to honor Sprint's price.

It says $450 in the email that Sprint sent out. You can also go to your local Sprint store and ask. Mine instantly told me $475 after tax, do I'm guessing a lot of people ere asking.

The email they sent out had the $450 price in it, and your local Sprint stores should know (at least mine did).

Thats at Best Buy for you, they always mark up everything off-contract way higher then anywhere else. They charge 599.99 for the Hero wile the Hero threw Sprint its only 429.99 retail.

Either way, going through Sprint to buy it outright is the cheapest option.
