Help Best place to get ringtones?

I just gave Zedge a try tonight, but have a few questions. I haven't downloaded any ringtones/sounds for about 3 years (yeah I just used stock tones, I'm boring lol).

So I'm really confused as to how to do it, and where it gets saved to etc. I found a ringtone, went to "mobile web direct download" - used my phone's browser and put in the code to d/l it on my phone. So then it shows up in my stock music player. Is that normal? Then I just go to menu, set as ringtone, and I'm done? It didn't give me an option between saving on my phone and saving on my sd card. Is that a big deal?

Also because I haven't downloaded any music to my phone, does that mean when I do, my ringtones are going to be mixed in with my cd's in the music player? (as an aside, should I be using a better music player than the one that comes on the phone?) Is there any way to sort ringtone downloads into a folder/file or something? I don't really want/need it to play in my music player since it's just a 20-30 second clip and my ocd side would be annoyed if it was randomly mixed in with my actual music.

Sorry for so many questions, but this whole new world of ringtones/sounds is huge. :)

Yes, it will work fine that way, just allowing it to download to your phone and then browsing to it through your "music" icon and setting it as a ringtone.

When you open up "Music" it shows you all your mp3s everywhere, on the phone as well as on the SD card, so there really isn't a problem, except that I like to keep my "short" ringtones separate from my music mp3s so I created a "Ringtone" folder on my SD card and using Astro file manager, moved all of my ringtones into it. You can do it from your PC also which is a faster way to do it.

You can put your Ringtone folder either on your SD card or right into your phones memory, whichever you prefer or wherever you have the room.

I then just browse to my ringtone folder, choose a ringtone as "set as", etc.

Hope this helps.
