My battery keeps on over heating when i charge it. My battery started acting funny this week when i plugged it in to the charger and it would charge stop charge stop continuous. Should i take it up to Verizon and see what they say.

hmm i had the same issue. then i changed my rom and it went away. have you tried a reboot and a battery pull?

Yep. I am getting very mad at it. I went from 70% of battery to 30% in 20min. Should i go to verizon and describe my issue to them to see if they will replace phone.

i would. at the very least you might get a new battery or something.

Yea, that doesn't sounds right, I would go to Verizon and have them take a look at it and see what they say. It can't hurt.. at least you may get a new battery outta it, or who knows a new phone.

Verizon was no help. They just erased every thing. They said it is probably an app causeing it. I knew it wasn't an app. After she did the factory reset she said it is faster. Well duh it is faster there is nothing on it.

So let me just ask you. It is doing this with NO apps installed? Just after a full reset?

Are you using more than one power plug to charge it? Such as getting the same results on your car charger as home charger?

Yes the battery is still over heating on both car and home.

They said it was probably an app that caused it to do that. I don't believe them. I knew more about the eris then the verizon person.

Just to clarify...did you immediately put apps on or did you wait to see if the problem continued with a clean factory reset? That is important if you want to either get it replaced or figure out the problem.
