hands free dialing

Will this really be addressed in Froyo? So far, nothing I've seen in the Google I/O videos and nothing else I've heard has any indication of it. I've yet to even see Google acknowledge that the problem exists, let alone fixing it. If you have any links, that would be really helpful. I should mention up front that in the Google I/O videos, they demonstrate a search feature that would find a restaurant, then automatically dial it. The demo looks rigged to me, because the phone jumped right into dialing without going through a confirmation step. Android 2.1 currently has the exact same capability, except that it goes through a confirmations step, and the confirmation requires you to tap the screen. There needs to be a voice-based confirmation step in order to make this truly hands-free.

Okaaaay, you're confusing the hell out of me.

First you insist that you cannot find anything proving that Froyo will have Bluetooth Voice Dialing. Yet, it's all over the 'net. Googling "Froyo Bluetooth Voice Dialing" returns tons of results, including a link to Google's Developer Site & the Froyo 2.2 documentation which clearly confirms it.

You also referred to the demo it at the Google IO keynote. Did you actually watch it? Do you remember 10 minutes later when they switched back to do a different demo and the phone was still connected? Still think it was rigged somehow?
