I noticed this under the Incredible Wikipedia page the other day as a "tip" for improving call quality;

- Go to Phone and Dial ##778
- Choose Edit Mode
- Password is 000000
- Go to CDMA Settings
- Scroll all the way to bottom
- Change Home Page, Home Orig, and Roam Orig from option EVRC to EVRC-B
- Hit Menu and Commit Changes
- Phone reboots

Anybody ever heard of this/done this?

Already threads on this. Very subjective, seems to work for some and not at all for others. Also if you do not have the towers in your area or hit areas while traveling....no phone calls.

People that start these threads should point this out. Irresponsible, they be- harrrr.

no offense to the OP
i doubt that most people that post threads like this know what they are talking about.
any time someone tells you to change settings in the Debug section of anything it can have major changes to the way things work. depending on what you change (and what is available on that model) you can do alot of damage and may need to take it back to the store to have it repaired.

it sounds like the option they are changing here is telling the phone to use a different wireless standard to connect to the towers for voice data. this means that if you are in an area that has towers that do not support this type of connection then you will not be able to connect.
