As a matter of fact, the press release only mentions two phones, see below.

""SIRIUS XM will make it easy and convenient for DROID and Nexus One users to access our superior programming and exclusive content that they can't get anywhere else," said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SIRIUS XM Radio. "We are happy to add the DROID and Nexus One to our growing portfolio of Apps for smartphones that bring subscribers the best in mobile audio entertainment."

Hopefully, I have a Sirius radio and I love it. On the flip side, I hope I don't have to pay those broke ass bastards more just to use the app.

You do have to pay for Internet streaming, but if you pay for your XM Sirius subscription 3 years in advance, they throw it in for free. I use it all the time at work.

Until I downloaded yesterday & tested it myself, I assumed Sirius wouldn't work on my Hero. The previous faq's state it would work only on n1 & MOTO DROID. Seems like they were updated over night to include the following:

Please note: The following smartphones and media players require use of a FREE downloadable SIRIUS|XM Premium Online application:
Motorola DROID Motorola CLIQ
HTC Droid Incredible HTC Droid Eris HTC Hero
Google G1 Google Nexus 1

They have never offered a full line up of channels for the online or streaming option.

It is a big let down as I like to have the nascar race on at work and I cant get a Sat signel and there isnt a local radio broadcast thats solid enough.

The NAscar app on the phone works well, but it tends to be a bit picky / finiky

is it worth downloading Sirius to your phone? I've never used it before... What makes it different from pandora?

If you have a Sirius/XM account, it's worth it. I use mine in my car via a bluetooth system and it's great. It cuts out once in a while, but not that bad.

If I didn't have a Sirius/XM account, I would be happy with Pandora or XiiaLive.
