Robo Defense

Absolutely love this game, totally addicted. Just completed all achievements. Here is my list of improvements -

1) Some way to communicate issues to the developers at Lupis
2) Some kind of response from Lupis on ANY of the issues raised by loyal users
3) PC version of the game (I'd buy it in a heart beat)
4) Additional game fields and new opponents (again I'd pay)

(minor problem: how does one save up $5000???)

If you're somewhat close to $5000 and you're near level 100, you can go on a selling spree to try and get there. If you know there won't be any air dudes coming at you, sell all your SAMs that don't affect the path of the ground units (or sell them and quickly replace them with the $5 guns so the units don't take the short path through your towers). You don't have to end the game with $5000, you just have to break $5000 somewhere along the way.

I've taken my time.

First, I got all my achievements with minimal upgrades. I was at level 17 for most upgrades when I completed the 57 achievements. I had $75 million in the bank.

Then I spent all my upgrade funds and just defeated one difficulty level at a time, and got up to level 360. I would have a perfect game about 25% of the time, but usually lost 3-8 lives--mostly because I wasn't paying attention or was in fast mode.

Then I decided to see how far I could go, keep my main upgrades at 42 and starting health at 65. This time after winning, I moved up 10 levels each time. At level 360 I was earning $15-$17 million each game.

Game play slowly became more difficult. By level 500 I was losing 10-20 lives, but earning over $20 million/game. But would win any game that I paid good attention to game play.

Then things got tough. I started losing games. It required far more attention. It took me about 5 tries to win at Level 540, but earned $24 million when I did win.

I had to modify my strategy. Normally, I built ground and air defenses concurrently. I found it more effective to just build ground defenses, and build no anti-air until about game level 40, or so. I used a couple Teleport defenses for both aircraft and ground, and by level 40 probably 20 aircraft get through. Then I spend 90% of my funds on anti-air for the next 30-40 levels. When I built concurrently, too many ground and air attacks overwhelm me. Even though I send them back to the start, it gets expensive paying $3 to reset the defense for each one.

I haven't played at level 550 yet, and I'm not sure when I'll spend my upgrade funds. I'll probably give level 550 a couple tries.

I've currently banked $440 million.

I went from Level 360 to level 660 without buying any upgrades. I banked $770 million. But I cannot beat Level 660. About 15-20 ground enemy get through between game levels 12-18 before I can build a teleport. I can continue game play through about game level 50-70, but after a while I'm overwhelmed with both gound and air attacks.

When I win, I earn between $20-$29 million. $29 million has been my best game at about level 550.

At level 660, I earn about $4 -$7 million before I lose.

This morning, I paid $190 million to upgrade Explosives to Level 44. In my first game afterwards, I've got to game level 20, built one teleport, and have lost no lives. I won't be able to finish the game until tonight, but I'm confident that I will beat level 660 with this Level 44 Explosives upgrade.

After I beat Level 660, I'll probably spend all my banked dollars in upgrades and try to beat my $29 million record for a game.

I'm also addicted to this game. Yes, the second board in the full version is more difficult. But good thing I found good strategy for this game.

What we need is a strategy guide for the game. I played the lite version, and got totally hooked. I had to finish the level. However, I bought the full version, and I'm totally lost. The second board is totally kicking my a.

Great game, though.

Two things.

1) Not sure how well this would work, but a zoom in/out would be nice.

2) When dragging a new component onto the field, it'll often drop it in the wrong place when I lift my finger. It should detect like if you held it in one spot for .7 seconds, then there's a position shift .2 seconds before your finger leaves the screen, it should know not to put the object in that area. You know what I mean?
