1500 MaH Battery... what's the big deal? That's the same as the stock Hero battery

I feel rather stupid asking this so..... why is everyone making such a gigantic deal out of the 1500 MaH battery that the Evo has? That's the same rating as the stock battery in my Hero. What am I missing?

The Evo battery is the same as the Hero and the Touch Pro 2 except it is red. They are interchangeable.

It's because the Incredible only shipped with a 1300mah battery.

That's what I thought! Hm.... But wait, doesn't that mean that given only 3g on the Evo, I wouldn't get as much life out of it than the Hero, or is there something else at play? (e.g. new snapdragon)

It all depends on how you use the phone. Some days I only get 3 hours from my Hero, other days, 24 hours. I suspect that the Evo will have poor battery life for me until I get the power savers figured out.
