Help Touchdown Question

So a question for anyone using touchdown. Does it matter which version you install? I see "Exchange for Android 2.0/2.1" and "Exchange by Touchdown".

I would assume I should use the former, but there seem to be more 2.1/2.2 users on the latter.

Please help! :D

Why would anyone want to do that versus going into a legitimate Market for the download? Who knows what this file is, what it contains, or where it comes from? No one should do this.

Edit: Well then, I take it back. If it actually comes from Nitrodesk I'm sure it's ok.

I looked into it. It's actually a link posted by NitroDesk on their google users groups. It's the newest beta and supposed to work better on the Incredible (and some other devices) than the current release.

Understand, however, that this is a beta version and you might not get updates as they become available. It's also suggested for users having problems with the Market version. I don't have any issues on my DI with the release version, so the call is yours.

Yeah I realize it's a beta. Can't you manually install an application from the market over a beta version, though? You just don't get the automatic notifications about updates, right?

Thanks for the input about not having issues, too. Judging by the comments on the appbrain page I was a little hesitant.

I got the link from Google Android forums, it is the Exchange Touchdown, once you downlaod and install, you can go to market and upgrade to new version. Works great for me. The one on Market has a problem with emails not fitting into frame and half the email gets cut off, trust me this version rocks and I bought the license too.
