You need to check out the root directory above on the main site.

But in short, yes. All root is (after permissions is installed) is like logging into Administrator on your computer - versus you usually using a guest account. The GUI will stay the same.

HECK YEAH im excited.....it should look the same for the most part except if the chef changes the task bar

Interesting ... I'm doin it. But will probably wait a week or two to get use to Android. Coming from WMobile Touch Pro and a JB itouch.

That is just froyo, if you root you will still be on 2.1.

I can't wait to root this beast, I miss my hero with a passion. Been without android for 2 weeks and it sucks.
