Help! PLEASE!

Guys, I'm freaking out! I was going to give my Pre to my niece, but it broke today and Sprint ordered me a refurb, but it's not going to be here till Monday. Are they going to give me the new Pre if I already got an EVO? I didn't think about this until a few hours after the phone broke and I went into Sprint. I'm scared and thinking that I'm going to have to wait to get my EVO after I get the Pre on Monday. This makes me VERY sad! HELP! Do any of you work for or previously worked for Sprint or one of their retailers and can tell me what I should expect in this situation and what I should do?

I was going to get a replacement too but it wouldn't come into till tomorrow night.. from what I understand all you have to do is have the Pre activated to get the replacement.. so you get the Evo tomorrow and activate it .. then do a temporary ESN swap back to the pre on monday to do the replacement... (this is what I was told by a friend who works at a corporate store and what I've done in the past, YMMV) ..... And if they're nice.. they'll not re-activate the pre and directly activate the evo back when you go to pick the pre up...something i've done at least 3 times...

Why wouldn't they give it to you? The two phones are exclusive of one another. If they are giving you a refurb then it's either a warranty or insurance claim. Buying a new phone doesn't negate your claim.

Get your EVO and pick up your refurbed Pre on Monday. All is well.

dont panic you will be fine! i did something like this earlier with my touch pro when i first got my blackberry...my keyboard on my touch pro stopped working so I called it in for a replacement...2-3 days later i found out both of my parents were eligible for an upgrade so i bought 2 blackberries and moved one over to mine all before I got my replacement touch pro. The touch pro came in and i turned around and sold it on craigslist...so you wont have any issues if the order has already gone in

Ok, thank you guys for your answers. I was driving home (a few hours after I left the Sprint store) and it just occurred to me.....oh poop.....I might have totally screwed myself! I just don't want them to say "why the hell would we give you a new (well refurbed) Pre if you already got an EVO, you don't even need it? I don't want them to think that I'm running a scam or anything.

Well if the news is bad on your half, i would be happy to trade you your spot to get the phone tomorrow and you can have mine for next wednesday!

I would totally take you up on that except I'm afraid the only way I'm going to find out if I'm screwed is when I go to pick up the new Pre on Monday....... GAH

Do you have your pre-order for tomorrow? Besides if you go pick up the new pre on monday there is no way that they wont give it to you, its your phone.
