Galaxy S Launch in Zurich Vid

This is a side of Samsung that i don't like, they always make these over-the-top presentations with large screens, stage effects, sound effects and loads of buzz, as if they want to compensate for something, or maybe it's just there culture.anyway i don't care about that, what i care about is the product it self, and that fancy introductions do very little to tell me about the product it self.

Also i just noticed that they claim that the Galaxy S comes with latest android, which is false marketing (see the last 10 second of the video).

AFAIK in (most of) europe, the operators do not pick a phone, instead the consumers pick the operator according to their plans. At least that's how it works in the Netherlands, I would assume that same happens in Switzerland.

That being said, the operators may or may not have the phone available in their particular shops, but that won't stop the consumer from just going to a retailer and selecting a plan for whatever operator they want.

I saw the last 10 seconds and I don't see anything mentioning that it comes with the latest Android. What are you seeing that I'm not? If it's 2.1, then it is the latest until 2.2 is officially out.
