I have the same problem, Application opens then crashes as soon as i load a ROM. Glad just got the lite version first as soon as an update happens will definitely buy it. Im thinking the problem has to do with the Moto DROID running 2.0 since we seem to be the only ones having problems. PLEASE YONGZH add support for android2.0 and our new MOTO DROID!

To find roms jsut do a search on google. YES they are free but thats because you are only leggaly supposed to download ones that you own the actual game too, but who listen to that. I just searched google for "snes roms: first 2 sites rom nation and cool roms have tons to download. If you use bittorrents there are alot of HUGE rom collections out there you can download with one click. but im not gonna get into explaning all that if you dont already know.

Here are the steps to properly using ROMs on your phone. Please note that in most, if not all cases, downloading and using ROMs is a breach of IP laws.

  1. Download an emulator on your phone. Preferably, the ones by yongzh are the best. I've also heard good things about the ggNES and ggSNES line that are upcoming
  2. Sync your phone to your computer via USB cable
  3. Go online to a website that offers ROM downloads. Examples include Rom Nation
  4. Download ROMs to your computer hard drive in a specific folder. Please note that many ROM sites are questionable, so ensure you have a nice virus scanner enabled
  5. Unzip/unpack ROMs that you have downloaded
  6. Transfer ROMs from computer to your phone. Preferably create a folder labeled ROMs/PlatformType (lets say NES)
  7. Load ROM on phone and play
That should work in all cases. You can't download ROMs straight to phone because most are encoded in formats that are unreadable by the native OS and need put in a folder for the emulator to read it.

I just got the snesoid and I downloaded a couple roms but I'm still having a problem similar to those in the first post, I've used SNES9X for my computer years ago and it's practically the same. But yeah, when I start up snesoid it says it can't find any ROMs, so I do menu open and then find my ROMs folder on my SD card, and when I open any of them, it just takes me to the Menu with all my applications, and it never starts. Does anyone know a solution? I'm using a Motorola Droid with 2.1
