Just(last night) rooted official 2.1-which custom ROM do you recommend??

which 2.1 rom, if any, is based off of the official??
which are you using? recommendations?

i felt that fresh 2.1.2 was the most stable release so far..if you go that route i installed 2.1.1 first then flashed 2.1.2

i dont see how its the most stable when there have been numerous people including me saying that they lose connection to the internet and either have to turn off their cell connection then turn it back on or reboot.

i havent had one problem with dc and he released the final build so until i get the evo dc 9 will be good enough.

Ive tried SushiRom, Pure_Hero, and Fresh 2.1.2. I really like all three but I think i will continue trying Pure_Hero 2.0 for a day or so and see how it works. But really I think it becomes a matter of personal choice.

any rom can have landscape home screens. thats all part of the home app your using not the rom its self. im running fresh 2.1.2 1 using helix for my home and i have really enjoyed it so far.

ZenEXP-0.9.6.2OC Toasted: ROM This is an updated version of 0.9.6 with optimized and odexed apks for those that want to test it. A full wipe is required. The setcpu.txt should be copied to your sdcard on install. Download and install setcpu and use the custom frequencies at the bottom of the device selection screen or use overclock widget.

Download is right after that.

I tried fresh toast last week and it made my phone unusable. Does the oc in zen have the same reboot bug where it underclocks, and you have to reboot? I really want to run an oc rom but want to be able to use my phone, too

I didn't have any problem. Set your OC widget to stay about 2.4 and you should be ok. I had it freeze on me ONCE but a reboot solved it.
