Hello,
I am wondering if there is a tool or method I can use to alter the apps that start when my phone boots up. For example, the Sprint TV widget is giving a lot of people problems and I never use Sprint TV so I would like to stop it from ever running.

I know that you can just stop services, but it would be far neater if they never started themselves in the first place.

Thanks for your help.

I can second the Sprint TV Widget thing. It is always in the "running services" when you restart the phone. Damn bloatware!

Yes, it was always there... weird right? But that's SPRINT for ya.

ok, so here it is... IF YOUR ROOT your phone, you can take complete control over it. You can REMOVE the unasked for software Sprint has provided and chose NOT to load it if you don't want to.

Once you've rooted then check this out...

Anyway, hope this helps.
