Problems with POP3/IMAP Mail Setup

I just got my HTC Desire on Friday and I have been having trouble setting up the POP3/IMAP mail program. I have several email addresses and wanted to put them all on this but so far have only managed to get 1 to work.

The address I got to work was a @hotmail.com address.

When setting up my @yahoo.co.uk address, after putting I

I set my email up only yesterday and got this message, but it turned out I was using the wrong password (that's after three hours of messing with all the other settings...!)

Also, chech Yahoo's compatability with SSL/TLS if that's what you're using.

Have you googled live.co.uk/hotmail.co.uk server settings.

You may need to put in the correct server settings so the email app knows where to look.

I've just had a quick look and it details what server settings to use to retrieve mail..Give it a go you never know it might work.

e.g. What are Windows Live Hotmail's POP3 and SMTP settings?

Cheers, had the same problem, was on the phone to Orange and they tell me the same as you said. Seems to be working.
