Scanner Radio

I found a good Police Scanner app to on. It's called Scanner Radio in the Market Place, it's free, works good and has so nice features but notice some of the scanner feeds that there some that over modulates the back speaker it starts crackling a bit so it good to start with a volume about half way and then work up.

Can you tell me if it has a feed for Washington DC Metropolitan Police?

I used to work there so I'd def pick this up if it had them on there.

Downloaded it after seeing this post. Nice app! I've seen several websites like this, but didn't realize someone had made an app for it!
At one time most of scanner feeds where on ScanAmerica with the site owner Gordon Edwards intill the merger with Radio Reference, i did not know that he had app for this intill yesterday while searching and saw his name, he does have his own website. link below

I released the first version of the app into Android Market on April 22nd, the BlackBerry version has been available since last July.

I like the app but is there anyway to monitor more than one "radio" or feed at a time? I would like to have it actually scan through a list of favorites and just play when there is something being transmitted. Then have the ability to skip that if I want and move onto the next channel. This would really make it like an actual scanner.

I just downloaded it and was thinking the same thing....makes me want to go find my dad's old scanner so I can have multiple frequencies being checked at all times. Cool app nonetheless!

Nope, this isn't possible since the app is actually just playing an MP3 audio stream, you would need a real scanner for that capability.
