yes, I see it too. Actually says "Qik for HTC EVO 4G" and I was prompted to replace the old one.

Does anyone know how this works? Will it only be from Qik to Qik, or Evo to Evo? I'm using Fring now and you can video chat with people on Skype, AIM, and all kinds of others...

Qik to PC still has about a 10 second delay. Maybe because I'm on 3G?

I thought we could do Qik to PC chat but it doesn't look like it.

Fring is still the way to go for that. (unless I'm missing something)

I just downloaded it and I was in the process of verifying my phone number when I was asked to pick what kind of phone I have from a list and the EVO was not listed. So I'm still not able to do video chat. Anyone else have this problem?

Ya same here. I just backed out of that page adding select any. Not sure what to do but I can still open qik so not sure it matters.

I backed out of that page too.

You'd think that MAYBE they'd add EVO to that page since they happened to add the QIK HTC EVO app to the market.

Yeah, if you search "Qik for EVO" in market, it'll come up. Mine has updated twice now, automatically. (Blue Qik, not the Orange Qik anymore)

Fring works fine with this, even on 3G. Qik needs to get on it

yeah the video chat only works with skype now. I'd really like to see a google video chat app for the evo. I'm sure we will see alot more solutions like this in the future. I have no one to use qik with yet either, but the fring/skype chat is perfect.
