HTC Evo Innocell 3500mAh Extended Life Battery info...

So, I received a call on my Evo when it was sitting on the charger at 100% battery, then I answer the phone and I have a 12 minute conversation (that's the exact length of the call). I look at my phone and it now says 90%. That's really bad... I have all wifi, Gps, and widgets turn off that I know drain the battery... that is unacceptable battery time.

So I have seen that 3500mah battery on Seido's website before but it's not released yet, so I chatted with someone to get some info on it because I really need that battery... going by the mah it should more than double the battery life.

So what I found out is this;

-It should be coming out within 1-3 weeks
-It should be around $69.95
-The size of the back for the phone will be larger, but the rep. said that it should still have the HTC logo as well as the Sprint logo in the back. Hopefully that'll be true.

I really need that large battery and I don't care about increasing the thickness of the phone at this point. The only problem will be in finding a case for it after that battery is on there. lol

Get ATK and kill all the stupid Sprint apps that run in the background, set it to safe and kill everything every 30 mins. Also get spareparts, check if you have any app that is not letting the device go to sleep :( I had AIM with the facebook chat and it was not letting my device go to sleep and I was draining batt like no tomorrow.

EX. Using ATK - Wifi on set to never go to sleep, Bluetooth on - never sleep, 4G off, Took the phone off the charger at 10 am, went mountain biking (low reception area, made 3G struggle looking for signal), made some video calls over home wifi, received around 20 emails, maybe 20-30 im's, a couple more calls, recorded some video while mountain biking, let friend check out phone and play with it for a while, had 10% remaining around 12am. I know alot of people say ATK does not work but I went from 6 hours to a whole day with it, I am very pleased :)

you will lose your kickstand

You're wrong.
The kickstand is attached to the body of the phone not the battery cover. Even though the Seidio cover will add about 4mm to the back it will only be to the immediate area around/above the battery.
For every phone I've had I've gotten the accessories from Seidio and never been dissatisfied, especially their batteries.
I have mine ordered and waiting delivery. Goin from this 2-3hr use time disaster of a battery to the 3500 will be a dream!!

plus, most HTC phones have a pretty poor battery life from 100%-about 85%. then it's pretty good at holding its charge from 85%-20% or so. i bet if you have 12 min phone conversations when your phone is around the 60% range, it won't drop the same 10%.

mm i don't think is htc most likely android cause my samsung moment was the same and i still don't understand why this happens
