I don't believe the Droid Eris has an FM Radio built in (hardware), therefore no app

Plenty of apps for streaming AM and FM radio over 3G/WiFi. I currently use Radio Time and love it. You can actually listen to stations from all over the world. This plus Pandora allowed me to cancel my XM subscription.

App is $2.99, but well worth it for all it offers, IMHO.

Oh, I thought you meant FM Radio like the Incredible/EVO have. Over the internet there are a few. Sorry. What device do you have? Perhaps that is why you can't find them?

No code or widget needed for use on your phone. You do need to register on the website and then put your user name and password in the settings (Press Menu button while in app). Then just use it. Not all stations are on it but the selection is huge. I got rid of my XM radio because of this app. I can get all of my favorite talk radio shows and it even lets me pick the time (some shows are broadcast at different times on different stations). If you have good 3G coverage it is pretty solid. If you go between 1x and 3G then pick a station that is less than 32k and you should be ok. Anything higher and it will probably skip. 24k is fine for talk stations but not for music. After you find stations you like press the heart button to add that station to your favorites. It doesn't add shows to favorites only the stations. If a station seems flaky try another one until you find one that is good. The app also works great over WIFI if you are connected via WIFI. I just used this on a trip from Roanoke, VA to Jacksonville, FL and it was great. I used to have drop outs and problems on XM also so that is nothing new to me. Hope this helps. The devs of this app respond pretty fast to questions too.

Also search for XiiaLive (formerly DroidLive). They have a free Lite version that does pretty much all the paid one does. It ads the nifty feature of putting up ads on every page (For FREEEEE!!!) This is an official Shoutcast partner app. Very nice looking and easy to run.

No it doesn't! I was using iHeart for a while and it was so frustrating. A few months back, on the recommendation of OTD, I downloaded Radio Time for $2.99. Never a buffer issue, always connects, and stations from all around the globe. Easiest way to add presets is on their website which syncs to your phone. And totally agree with the Pandora app too. Between the two you don't need anything else. I bought the yearly for Pandora but you can use the free version with very minimal ads every once in a while.

I used AOnlineRadio for awhile but have recently (3 weeks or so) been really happy using XiiaLive Lite. It doesn't buffer and reset like crazy.

When I want to listen to a station that isn't found using the search in XiiaLive, I navigate to the website for the station, then click the "Listen Live" button that most stations have. That causes XiiaLive to launch. I love listening to stations from all over - it's pretty fun!

I dled radio time and tryed it today at work, And i got to say i didnt like it at all. It kept buffering and cutting out. When i got home i dled Xiialive and tried it out and so far no cutting out and buffering problems and i love it.

Well that sucks, I only have buffering problems if I am in a really bad area. Glad Xiialive is working for you though.

Yeah it kind of did suck, But im glad i was able to get a refund because i only had it for maybe two hours. But yeah ive been listening to Xiialive for about an hour now and it hasnt buffered once, and im listening to the same station i was before. Also im using the lite version of Xiialive.

I'm glad to see someone else liking XiiaLive, too. I think the interface is slick, and it just seems to WORK - which appears to be problematic for a lot of "online radio" applications.

(I have no connection with the dev, or any interest in the application. I am just a very satisfied customer!)

I received an email back from RadioTime in about 5 minutes! They said that Clear Channel owned stations are restricted on mobile devices. You must use iHeartRadio for Clear Channel stations.

If you use both RadioTime & iHeartRadio then you have access to virtually every station.

I agree Xiialive plays well. No buffering. It's kind of hard to navigate compared to others (at least for me).
