Bbc/itv live on mobile????

If you're not getting it, it's generally the wifi configuration that's the issue. Mine works perfectly at home, but never gets a connection at work.

Seems they somehow block it at work, as there's few things that don't download or connect on that wifi using my phone, even though it's got as much bandwidth speed as it's possible to have.

I've got the TVcatchup Beta for Android running on my Desire, but dont think they are allowing anymore testers. I think they aim to make it available to all by the time the world cup kicks off.

I hate you! I was on about page 14 of that request. Didn't hear a thing from them! Come on spill the beans! Whats it like, and where did you hear that about the world cup?

Also ive tried that other site that gets mentioned above. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it works badly, often not at all. Very hit and miss if you ask me. I use it via dolphin hd. On o2 3g, but with an iphone contract sim if that makes a difference. Either way, NOTHING on tv catchup! I use to stream that badboy on edge faultlessly on my iphone!

You get two options on most channels, HQ and LQ. High quality is very good, but pretty data intensive, and needs a relatively fast connection. It stutters occasionally on my 3Mbit broadband. Low quality is a bit blocky, and probably no good for the like of football, but is fine for the news and stuff.

Cant remeber where I read about them releasing it for the world cup, but I'm sure it wasn't official, so really dont get your hopes up.

Steve you lucky person! fingers crossed for the tvcatchup being rolled out in time for the world cup. Can't wait for this i have used it on the iphone and found it of good quality.

I use yamgo at the moment and have found that the quality does vary some times its very high sometimes low.

also thanks for your link to your blog steve i had a peek over there, i like the review on the proporta, i have just bought a pebble found it amazing and worth its weight in gold especially with the battery on my desire lasting a day or so :) on the 'Seidio 1600mAh extended life battery' topic on here there are people asking about the proporta and like wise devices

For those that aren't aware, tvcatchup is a great company, it at least it was on iphone. Billion times better than beeb player. Some lucky gits managed to get the beta version. According to the tvcatchup forums, android users are being advised to keep checking the website "next week"! So it looks very close indeed. I just hope its as good on android!
