Our phone is a little different than other Android phones since we have NO physical buttons (other than volume rocker.)

Are there any good games that show off the big screen and the fast processor, that play well on our phone?

Any good 3D games? Hopefully with the phone being as popular as it is, there will be some new games coming out.

Honestly, while the Android platform has some good games, this is a major weak point compared to the iWorld. I've owned a G1 since launch and it is pathetic that many of the top paid Android games, RoboDefense and Jewellust, still dominate the charts. I don't understand why there has been such little movement in this area. Is it because of lack of onboard space on most phones? Hopefully now that Android is getting a large % of the smartphone market things will change. I will still depend on my iPod Touch, alongside my EVO (coming today woo!!!), for music and gaming. Save that EVO battery life for the important stuff!!!!

To get the games on Gamelofts website you have to select your carrier as Verizon and Choose the Motorola Droid as your phone. After doing so it will provide you a download link for the games. I personally have Gangstar (think GTA), N.O.V.A. (think Halo) and Dungeon Hunter (...think Diablo?). I also downloaded Modern Combat Sandstorm, but it force closes on opening it, disappointed about that as I wanted to play it.

Also, check out SpeedX 3D on the market, it's pretty fun.

I had no idea about gameloft games, I just always assumed I was restricted to games via the Market, I guess I'm still a noob. I downloaded Let's Golf because that game is awesome on the Pre, I accidentally selected 3G for download and it is taking forever, but thanks for these suggestions. I'll checkout snes next.

The reason iPhone has better games than the Android is because it's SO much easier to pirate games on the Android, so game developers don't really want to put as much time into a game that'll easily get pirated.
