Does the LiquidAUX bluetooth setup work with the EVO?

And if so...what are your experiences with it? Looking for a good hands free setup for the car and I hear the LiquidAUX works well with other phones, but haven't been able to find anyone using it with the EVO. Please post-up if you're currently using it with your EVO.

Yep, using it here. Works like a charm.

thanks for the confirmation. just a few questions, if you'd be so kind:

1.) how is the quality of music through the bluetooth to your car speakers? any delay, hiss/noise, etc? have you tried it with pandora?

2.) is there a specific app needed to use the steering wheel remote for music playback?

3.) any problems with the usb port/charging feature? i've heard some say they've had issues with the charger port working properly.

thanks for your time.

1) The quality is fine.. A2DP is all digital, so there is no deterioration of sound quality (like you get with FM modulators). Pandora works, as does any app that outputs to Media out.

2) No, steering wheel remote interacts with this BT unit itself, there is nothing needed on the phone. It's no different than BT or wired headset.

3) Haven't tried it with Evo yet, but it worked fine with my N1.. so no reason to think it wouldn't work with Evo.

I had the liquidAUX bluetooth and an Evo.

I've only tried it with Pandora. So far, the forward button works so you can skip tracks. The back button doesn't do anything and the play/pause button doesn't do anything after you start up Pandora streaming. Also the phone button doesn't do anything. I was hoping the phone button would activate voice control like on the iPhone, but sadly it did not.

I haven't had any trouble charging my phone at all either and I do have some static/hiss, but that is probably do to module I added to get an AUX port. Actually, I'm sure it's due to the module and not the bluetooth setup.

That figures. :) Can you use a bluetooth headset at the same time and take a call on that or do you have to go through all kinds of contortions to take the call on the headset while the Aux is connected?

Not sure, never tried pairing 2 BT headsets to a phone at the same time. When I need to take a ccall while using LiquidAUX, I simply pick up my phone
Media playback via BT gets automatically paused.
