I have twice (since Friday) encountered an ActiveSync error to my corporate exchange server that I've only been able to fix by deleting and recreating the ActiveSync profile. the problem manifests itself as a perpetual unsuccessful attempt to sync and occurs seemingly randomly. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've seen some threads referencing Touchdown but not sure this is the right solution for this problem on the EVO. Please don't tell me I need to go back to my Blackberry...Thanks!

The only problem was when my internet went out and I was connected to the WiFi. Thought exchange was the issue but it will really my home internet...

Is your SD card working properly?

Before the OTA fix was provided I was have the same issues, I pointed the problem on the faulty SD issue. Not enough cache to hold all of my messages and basically timed out. I deleted the exchange account, applied the OTA patch and rebooted, setup exchange again and haven't looked back.

Hope that helps.

I had also previously done the OTA update so that's not the problem, unfortunately.

Yesterday my active sync stopped working for exchange (mail, calender, contacts). I am able to manually sync it and set it to check every 5 mins. I have checked all my settings with a coworkers settings that has the evo that is working with our server. I have deleted the account and even did a hard reset on the phone. Still am not able to get mail to push to my phone. Not sure what the issue is here.
