mine seems to be getting worse. i can move it up and down a little bit and if i just barely move the slider to the right it sometimes stays that way without me pushing it back into place

Mine was doing a little wiggle as well, so I took into the store today. One of the reps had a Slide as well, and after comparing both of ours and one in the store, they all did the same thing. It's normal for it to move because it's spring loaded. But if you feel like its wiggling too much, just take it into a store and swap.

im not the kind type when it comes to things I think i know lol.

BUT,

lets take a look at springs.

springs are metals that are contorted to serve a task.
since metal isn't made to be like rubberband, it might overextend soemtimes.

this happens when people try to push it in a direction farther than is needed.

People, take care of your slides. Don't just drop it in your purse or let it slip out of your hands (or try to open it more than it can). The springs will stretch or break.

Thank you for your time.

So mine didn't used to wiggle. Now it does. To be honest, I just think it's shoddy construction in the design. I have two friends with Droids that have been Droid owners since its release and their sliders still feel as solid as a rock.

Lots of people on the internet are complaining about it...
ya, mine seems to be getting worse and worse. im going to take mine to tmobile and see if i can get a replacement. i love the phone but if its a problem for almost all of em i don't know what im gonna do.

are you people serious? like for realz?

Your going to complain about wiggling? for crying out loud, at least you dont have an OS problem or a hardware problem.

I'm just surprised at the amount of complaining people do about things they shouldn't complain about.

Sorry to all, but I just came from a behold II, and if you have any idea of that phone, its users were depraved of a lot more things than it wiggling. It still has an outdated OS and bad bluetooth.

I can't wait till I get my mytouch slide, its coming in the mail tomorrow! :)

No problems at all for me...no rubbing, no wiggling, no software issues at all...yet. it's lightning fast. Sorry for all you that have issues but it's inaccurate to imply they all have isssues because they don't. Mine is perfect and I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true...as for galaxy s enjoy your awesome hardware with the worst software ever to ruin android, ok well twiz 2.0 is the worst but twiz3.0/s-life is not looking much better they have overloaded the os again although it's said that it is the fastest and I believe that it is but that just means you can access shit software super fast.

I've seen it first hand. The TW3.0 is nothing like 2.0. It's obviously faster than any phone I've used, including the Evo (and of course my Slide). Twiz3.0 doesn't have that bog-down feel like 2.0 had.

It's more or less Samsung's version of the Sense UI. Look how polished HTC made their sense UI, so you know that Samsung is putting a lot of effort into their first ever flagship phone.

Lol Ok so graphically they copied the iPhone and os wise they copied sense...so what has samsung actually done! I haven't played with twiz 3 but I have seen it in person as well, and I already said it is fast...very fast, but I have to say it is no sense! They did seem to copy sense a lot just didn't pull it off nearly as well as they should/could have. I mean if you are going to rip off someone elses work the least you can do is get it right IMO, but hey to each his own just find it real funny you think samsung has changed...THEY HAVE NOT!

BTW GALAXY S IS NOT COMING OUT UNTIL END OF JULY! Word from leaks at tmo put it as a July 21 release this has been reported for a while now and even reported again this morning by tmonews.com

Some people paid good money for the phone maybe you didn't pay as much as some people, but that doesn't matter. I don't care how much I pay for a phone, I don't want something wrong with it. If I hear people say their phone doesn't wiggle and mine does, then I'm going to wonder what other problems my phone might have that other people don't. Like the guy said before his wiggling was getting worse. I'm pretty sure if the wiggling on your phone got worse you would complain or take it back. If not good luck when your screen falls off.

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I will say that I don't think they copied Apple or HTC. Twiz3.0 is really nothing like the Sense UI... I only meant that it's their version of a UI, the same way that HTC created their Sense UI. And the design of this phone was out way before any leaked photos of the iPhone4. The only thing that looks remotely close to the iPhone is the applications drawer, but that's not exactly copying anyone.

Besides, it's a smart move when their obvious goal is to surpass Apple. And we Android users should be all for that. ;)

But I have no problem waiting a little extra longer for the fastest phone on the market.

I also had the Behold2. When you pay that much money for something, you want quality. It's called good consumerism. Just because we had a terrible phone before doesn't mean we should lower our standards and be content with shoddy construction.

I am returning mine and waiting for the Galaxy S.

Wow, what do you know, samsung's plan is actually working :)

Samsung's Plan- Stop supporting Behold 2, then stop support and make a new phone that people will buy (samsung galaxy)

Its people like these that feed the bellies of deceitful companies. :(

ha ha, thats why people get insurance on their phones, duh!

by the way, i believe its the way you use and treat your phone.

If your applying constant pressure on the screen while its extended, OF COURSE its going to start wiggling.

I think some people just like to go with the crowd or over analyze things. HOnestly, wiggling prevents you to do what again? Does wiggling slow down the speed of the phone? Or does the wiggling prevent you from accessing the android market?

If it breaks, then shame on you for not having insurance. But there are not complaints about the OS, and several about wiggling.

Well I have to give credit to where credit is due,

Samung is known for producing the fastest phones in the market.

The fastest phone to gain complaints.....

the fastest phone to crash..........

the fastest phone to lose support...........

the fastest phone to lose batter life.......

the fastest phone to be replaced by another better phone (in its own company)

There are some serious pancakes in this world. Hey dont i remember you from all the complaining of how bad the SAMSUNG behold II was?

mt3g slide is sure to make its peace in my world :)
