Clear the quick search history

Unfortunately i let someone use my phone to see the thing... I usually hate doing that cause they often do something stupid... Anyway the guy searched for gibberish in the quick search. Now that gibberish is there every time I hit the magnifying glass. I've not got anything else in there because every time I search I just use the voice activated one. I'd like to be able to clean that out so that the history is either clean or contains valid searches...

Anyone have an idea how to do so? I've not been able to figure it out.

Poof done!

Wow I swear I'd looked... Must have been really tired last night when I was looking as I swear I'm not usually that daft. ;) But I did put in a full day of work (all night) and then went to Verizon in the morning to get my storm and then played with it all day. Was totally worth putting in 8 more hours through the night so that I could play with the phone interruption free for the first day! ;) But I was obviously less than 100% haha.

Carl, I was able to view all the apps, and cleared all data and the cache. I turned the phone off and back on.... the data still shows!

It seems to be working perfectly fine for me {Running 1.6 on my HTC Magic}

Can anyone else confirm who is running 2.0 if the above method deletes the Quick search?

{If not it may be some sort of bug in 2.0 or maybe theirs another method besides having to Factory reset the phone} :(
