I Am actually impressed with the idea of Nexus one running on stock android OS keeping the UI simple and powerful, fast..

And also apart from HTC sense, most of the customized skins dont look or feel as good as stock Android. ( IMO )

So i am wondering are there any other phones running stock android just like Nexus one does. ?

Thanks in advance.

I agree, we need more stock Android Phones.

The problem here is that carriers (especially in Canada and the US) will no doubt want to lock the phones and install their custom ROMs. This, with exclusive phones gives them the ability to charge ridiculous monthly rates.

What we need is a store selling lots of unlocked phones and everyone to use one standard (ex: all on WiMax or LTE).

The carriers don't install custom roms. The manufacturers do. I'm not saying that the carrier can't request certain things in their roms, which they can and do. But the custom roms come from the manufacturers. For example, I think Verizon will request that Motorola takes out the wifi hotspot feature of 2.2 for the Droid (unless they can find a way to monetize it). But the carriers do not make custom roms themselves....

**EDIT** And your idea of unlocked phones would only work for 2 carriers in the US. ATT and T-Mobile. Verizon and Sprint would not have unlocked phones since the 3G network differs from ATT & Tmobile (and even between themselves, VZW and Sprint use different 3G radios). Maybe when 4G hits proliferation, we might see unlocked phones that work for any carrier that has that type of 4G (ie. Wimax or LTE). It would be really nice if future phones included both Wimax and LTE radios, but I think that may be cost prohibitive...

Vzw and sprint use the same 3G radio. In fact, in all areas that used to be alltel,(which is nearly half the vzw map) can be used on Sprint, 3G EVDO and all.

Tmo and AT$T are the ones who have different 3G radios

Tapatalk. Samsung Moment. Yep.

EDIT: but unlocked phones would be great. Id like to see a subsidized and unsubdized market.

You guys in the US seem to get screwed a lot with your carriers :S

Here, we have Carphone Warehouse, which sell unlocked phones on any carrier you want. We're all on GSM here in the UK :)

But we don't get all the new phones like the Incredible or the EVO :(
