I'm also excited for the new Motorola phones. I hope they can hit it big with at least one of them. Then maybe my Motorola stock might finally be worth something...
I love seeing all the advancements people are trying to put into smartphones these days. Everyone is trying one-up everyone else and it is leading to some pretty amazing phones. Alas, I will not be happy until I find a phone that works at the speed of thought.
This article is why I support android so much. It brings a level of intense competition that leads to unheard of tech. You can't win with dumbed down devices because that's not going to fool anyone. You have to show us everything you've got.
Sometimes I wonder if we're going backwards... I mean, using more and more powerful processors will risk people releasing less optimized code. There seemed to be a lot of rushing to release the 500 mHz phones, and then suddenly there's the 1 gHz phones, and now the 1.5... but are these phones really running that much faster?
Not that I won't get a nice new powerful one, of course
I'm glad I'm still locked into my Droid for the next year and a half, because I get them impression there's still a lot of testing and improving and optimizing going on with the hardware, software, and general Android OS. It's like everyone is beta testing so I can get something really amazing once it's contract renewal time
