so i jus rooted my nexus one, and i actually paused for a few minutes at the screen where they say the warranty is void...but i was jus waiting for all the goodies at the other side...

and i was surprised how market automatically downloaded all my apps for me, and now i can install my apps on the sd card as well!

ok..so i got a few questions...

i still have the stock 4gb card, but i hope to save up some money and go the whole way and buy a 32gb card! if and when i do change my sd card, is it jus a case of copying the files from one to the other?

also, i saw in some threads and other places that to install on the sd card you need to partition it, but i didnt do anything like that, but rather i used ModInstallLocation which is available in the market...

with regard to updates, will i get automatic updates now that im rooted?or will i have to go through the whole manual update process?

and if i opt to install a custom ROM such as cyanogen, then its just a case of updating the cyanogen each time right?cos then each google release doesnt really matter?and would cyanogen download all my apps for me?

thanks in advance guys!:D

Hello,
For the SD card all you have to do is copy the files over. Its gonna take a while!

You will not get OTA updates unless you use the stock ROM.

If you install a custom ROM and you want to update the same ROM you wouldn't need to wipe so you would still have the same settings and apps.
