Same here. But I have a feeling I will still be getting an Otterbox. I would like the additional protection. Plus with the extended battery, don't think my Seidio will now fit.
Hope the Otterbox is large enough to allow room for it. Signed up for notifications though.
They add a lot of bulk; the Defender series does anyway for the iPhone 3GS.
There shouldn't be any problems with overheating.
Honestly, I love the hard silicone case from Verizon. Good protection and thickness (not much, I mean) and the case is not sticky. It adds just the right amount of bulk to the phone to improve handling.
I think it depends on the series. I bought a Commuter series for my son's Eris, and it adds very little thickness. I think the Defender is the most ruggedized case, so it would make sense that it would add more bulk.
I will forever promote otterbox products to my friends and family. With their "bulky" cases, u can pretty much feel confident that if u accidently drop ur phone with the case on, the phone will survive the fall. I highly recommend Dinc owners to support otterbox!
i've seen otterbox case on friends iphone and it is one ugly thing... yeah, it maybe rugged but it is so sad to see that ugly case on a such beautiful phones. it reminds me of those nextel flip phones that construction people use.
I had the commuter case for my eris before i ditched the eris for the incredible. I will be ordering a commuter case for my incredible the day it comes out.
Not the least bit bulky....its the perfect case.

I have e-mailed the company, as have many others, and the response is that they are getting a lot of interest in a DINC case, and to keep watching their site. In the mean time, I have bought the BodyGlove case from VZ and have been very happy. It does not slip out my hand due to the material, it has survived drops already, does not interfere with any of the switches and screen buttons, and it is really a decent looking case. Just thought I would offer it if you are looking for something.
