Root Root Feed Back-success report

Well I am certainly not going to be the first to try and brick I mean root my phone.

However if you did achieve root, post here and give us feed back on the experience!

Ive been trying it for the last hour, I'm getting nowhere... I get Device not found every time. About ready give up.. rebooted this thing 50 times...

Can you link the instructions you used. Maybe someone can help once they see how you are doing it.

Feedback: Piece of cake, the batch file instructions floating around are mine, I'm running win 7 32bit on a dell D830 laptop. I have a 16gb SD card installed. Generally takes me 3-4 reboots to get the console up.

which buttons are you holding down to get into recovery mode? and did you have to do anything special with adb like install phone drivers? all I did was unpack the sdk and run sdb...

i got it working...it took me three hours, three different SD cards (finally used the 16gb from my droid) and it took...

Successful. Used the exact instructions in PreRunnerSeth's thread. For the bit that requires timing I followed other people's advice and didn't send the command until I saw yellow text. Win XP 32 bit, used the PNY sdcard that was being given away with the phone when it launched.

sorry did not find out that this is after you get recovery mode to work. Still have had no luck getting it to work.
