I need to work on mine :D So far I've demonstrated first the homescreens by leaping from one to the other and scrolling
*moving a widget around while saying you can customize whats on it
*using a system toggle widget and say you dont have to navigate through menus
*open the browser and set it on the kickstand to show that, and show using multitouch to zoom in and out.
*Turn it over and show the camera and say its 8mp dual flash and can record 720p, and that 4G is fast enough to transmit HD video directly to the internet, or from the internet to the screen
*Turn it over and say or you can output it to your TV

thats what i do for the most part. it needs work. i feel the need to be demonstrate the awesomeness of this phone effectively to people :)

For the iphone user:
1. Rub it in that they don't have google nav yet
2. Rub it in that they don't have goggles yet
3. Rub it in that they don't have built in google voice
4. Rub it in that they don't have swype
5. Rub it in that they don't have wifi tether
6. Rub it in that they don't have google translate
7. To top it off, i run a speed test with 4G on

Things that actually wowed me:
1. proximity sensor... not sure how long this has been a standard feature on phones but sheet, it's like the phone can read my mind.
2. How easy it is to tether
3. How fast everything launches and runs
4. SNESOID HOLLER
5. Blazing speed of the browser
6. Swype is sick... i can type faster than i used to with just one hand!
7. ICING ON THE CAKE: the community!!! all the hacks, apps, and friendly ppl just give me a warm fuzzy feeling on the inside.

snesoid, gameboid, genesoid, nesoid with full sets of roms.

Two cameras, take a pic with back one. Crop it, rotate it, attach to e-mail and send away.

Go to the internet, google a picture (using my voice). save it to SD card, add text to it (picsay), share with them via handcent.

Go to voice recorder and say some silly stuff, save it, set it to ringtone and have them call me.

Show them how fast and easy all the news feeds come up, weather, movie trailers, etc.

The things you can show people with this phone are endless

3 of my friends are switching to Sprint now.

Rough overview of the OS (most of my friends are iPhone owners, so this alone is astonishing to them)

Show them something like Live Backgrounds or running widgets on the dash to make them go O_O.

Show them the HDMI port, front facing camera, and HD video capabilities... knowing they can watch HD movies from a phone on their TV is enough to make them shocked.

Then I show them HD Youtube on a cellphone network, they can't believe it's youtube.

Sometimes show off the GBA emulator, which is always entertaining as they say, while watching Sonic Advance 2, "Oh my God, and it runs at full speed???"

The real heavy hitter though has been Sprint TV. Live shows or pre-recorded shows, it doesn't matter. When you show them what all there is that's free, they can't believe it.

As a side note, during one of these "show off" demonstrations, a notification came up that I had an email. My friend asked what the "ding" was, and I said it was a notification. His face looked excited at first, then kinda bummed... then said "so, it doesn't jump front and center and disturb you in the middle of a movie or game?" :).. no, no it doesn't. :)
