I'm seeing all the hype about T-Mobile upgrading to 2.2. Does anyone even know when it's gonna be released? I'm guessing after all the other carriers upgrade to higher than 2.2?

No official release date yet. Unless you count "coming soon" as an official release date

Hopefully it comes this week or else I'm probably gonna cancel my T-Mobile and go to sprint. The EVO is a nice phone. I hate that T-Mobile can't keep up with the technology of these other companies.

Where do you get this idea from? Cant count the nexus cause hat update is coming straight from google. My thought and general opinion is that the droid will be closely after the nexus. Making Verizon the first official company to roll it out. We shall see

Not likely if you ask me.. Nexus will probably see it in the next 2 weeks then the droid shortly after. Whenever the nexus gets it others will begin to get it a few weeks after. Google is gonna makle sure there phone has it for atleast a week before anyone else

I agree with Merf, the Droid will probably get 2.2 after the Nexus One. I really doubt that T-Mobile will be the first to upgrade to 2.2 after the Nexus gets it. And still, we still have to worry about getting the 2.1 update.

Thats what i did, done with waiting.cyanogens 5.0.8 t3 is working great
