Accessories Looking for a decent car mount for a good price???

I just bought this item:

Amazon.com: Bracketron Mobile Grip-iT Windshield Mount - cellular…

It looks like it would be a great mount for the car, or in my case a Jeep. What sold me is that the mount can swivel 360 degrees so that if you wanted to put navigation in landscape mode, it seems that it would be pretty simple to do so (although the huge screen would suffice in regular mode :) )

P.S. I haven't received or used this item yet, but once it comes, I can give everyone a little review on how it works

Ok, I got mine today so I can post pics for you guys. Unfortunately, I bought this to stick to the dash and the ONLY place I can get it to stick is to the windshield. So if any of you have any suggestions on how to get it to stick to plastic, please let me know. I already purchased the vent mount (one for my phone, one for my Zune) and I've had some issues with the screen working when it is in the holder. YMMV

I'll go take some pics right now and post them in a few.

Ok, here's my video review. Please excuse the dorkiness. It's like leaving a voicemail, I always feel so awkward doing it! (video taken with my brother's EVO)

To add to what I say in the video, the mount sticks to the windshield very well and they have a release lever which makes it really easy to take off. It holds the EVO really well, it's never fallen out and I don't have any worries that it will. It's also padded with foam, so no worries about scratches. The arms on the sides come in right below the volume rocker, so it's not going to squeeze it. I had said earlier that I was having problems with the touch screen working when it was in the mount, but as you can hear in the video, it's working just fine now. Both of the mounts I have rotate, so you can use landscape mode without any problems. You can see in the video, that you can also charge your EVO without any problems while it's in the mount.

If you have any questions that weren't addressed, just let me know.

I don't have any fancy videos, but I do have a few pics of mine. :) I actually bought two different Bracketron units, one that slips into a cup holder and one like Hopes that clips onto your AC vents. I think I'll end up using the vent model because it just works better for my car. The unit that actually holds the phone is the same, the only difference manner in which it is secured to the car. In no particular order, here are some pics of the cup-holder version. I don't have any yet of the vent model.

Some random thoughts......

The base that goes into the cupholder is round and has two ratcheted, spring-loaded

got one of these at Marshalls today for $12.99. haven't had time to use it yetmore then about 5 minutes. I like it. seams solid and quality built. maybe a bit to flexible because of the arm. it moves when you touch the screen (might also be the base I put it on). got to test it more.

Which one? Because the windshield mount, although bendable, is not that easily moved. You have to really force it.

I reccomend the Arkon Mega Grip mounts over the Bracketron ones for these reasons: the Bracketron holders' arm grips look really clunky, the feet aren't adjustable and the ratchet mechanism to adjust the arm is inferior compared to the Arkon Mega Grip, which you squeeze closed and pop them open with a button.

Arkon's windshield mount comes with an adhesive disk that you can stick anywhere on your console or dash and mount the suction arm:
