I was very happy to change to the darkside! and finally get an android , well two.. me and the wife..:p , loving every minute with it . But i was sad to know that the evo did not come with any accessories " headset " ( handy when you driving or listening to music at work )

So i question my self about plugging in the apple headset with mic to the EVO and to my surprise IT WORKS! answers calls , end calls, and play/stop your music player! :D yeay! i dont need to by headsets anymore!

Also found a way to sync my itunes playlist on mac or PC DIRECTLY to the evo!
here

I don't remember if the mic controls worked with pandora for the iphone (i think it did). But could you check to see if it will work with pandora for the evo? I broke my apple headphones but if it works, then I might pick up another set.

p.s. Anyone know of a cheap alternative than the apple store to pick up a set?

The button pauses and resumes the music just fine on mine. Wish double clicking skipped the song instead of calling the last person you called.

Don't have the set with the volume controls but I am 90% sure the volume buttons won't work.

Basically just pick up any set of headphones with mic and single button and you should be fine.

So does the double click make a call only in Pandora, or for the main music player as well? If I can't switch to the next song, the handset would be useless for me :(. My iPhone ones are gone now, but I was eying a set of recently released Sony ones I might pick up, if this works the way it should. Let me know, please!
