Convert movies to Fit on x10..

Do you convert into: MPEG4 or AVS ?
I just tried MPEG4 and that it couldent play, strange though - Couse i have another movie file, thats in MPEG4 and plays fine, it just dosent show full screen...

Im converting into: 800x480

May be worth playing around with a few of the other options.

Maybe even try the HTC-Dopod 800x480 mpeg4 option.
With all the choices i am sure one will work to what you need.
The one i converted for the desire works absolutely mint.

I played around with loads, also try changing the aspect ratio to expand, depending on the source material. you can just use a small sample file to test all ooptions until you get a good one.

Oh yes its saturday

YAAAAAAAAAAA FOOTBALL !!!
Luckely i saw the opening yesterday - was quit good and a good match to....

Have a great saturday mate ;-))
And thanks again - will do as you said (use smaller file - and different modes)
Cheers

forgot to add that you can also use this software to change the start and end times so basically you can just do a small clip of a full film.

Can't fault it.

Have a great day.
Now where's me Strongbow.

when I was converting Sex in the City episodes for use on my girlfriend's X10, I used the following settings on Format Factory:

All to MP4 ->

Video Encode -> AVC (H264)
Resolution - 720x480
bitrate - 512
FPS - 24
Aspect - Automatic
Encode 2 pass- No

Audio Settings ->

Audio Codec - AAC
Sample Rate - 22050
Bitrate - 128 kbps
Channels - 2
Disable Audio - No
Volume Control - 0db
Audio stream index - Default

If you want to add subtitles you have to add files 1 at a time and go to Additional Subtitle options below the above settings and choose the subtitle file you have.
