I am very happy to say that I am getting rid of my cliq and t-mobile, and switching over to sprint and purchasing the htc evo tomorrow. The cliq is a decent phone, but not for me. It has a very outdated processor, which makes the phone constantly lag and run slow. It has a very tiny display. Its still running the oldest version of android (1.5), although that will be updated soon, im just sick and tired of waiting. And its very obvious that motorola is solely focused on the motorola droid. I find it funny that they are already talking about getting the droid to 2.2 when the cliq, cliq xt, and backflip are still on 1.5. WOOOOOOO 4G here I come !!

yea iam about to go to the mytouch slide soon as i c one for sell or i might just get it new if 2.1 dont come out for the cliq soon ioam trash it 2

Some people act like they are going to die if they don't get 2.1 soon. It honestly makes me laugh. I traded my behold II for a cliq and just want to say chill out atleast we are getting an update. I could have burnt my upgrade that is due to me this month along with $100 after rebate and the extra discount and got the slide but I don't see what all the fuss is about. The specs don't wow me the only thing it has is 2.1. I took the cliq and saved my upgrade for something 1GHz or higher not made by samsung and kept the behold which was sent to gazelle for $126. I am happy with my cliq 2.1 or not.

I agree.. most people just buy a phone and use it and not really worry about what version software its on... I'd say that 98% of Cliq users couldnt care less if it's on 1.5 or 2.1... It's the 2% that really worry about it because they want the latest and greatest...

How many of us are bitching about having the latest firmware release for our wireless routers?? probably 1% of us... 2.1 will come out eventually and if it doesnt, sell your phone on craigslist because the person buying it probably wont know the difference anyways and get a slide or whatever you like...

I just switch to the Sprint Evo from my cliq and was happy to pay my ETF. I liked the phone a lot but it didnt seem as though tmobile was very excited to help me on my 3rd exchange of their step-child device. I wish it could have ended on better terms as I always bragged about tmo's service but oh well. Im waiting on my EVO to arrive.

Some people just wanted access to 2.1 app ie Google Navigation (which may i add is googles fault for not mainstreaming to all versions)
