I just downloaded Astro, so I could move a few of my pics from my Onboard drive to my SD card. When I select move, and go to the SD card and select paste it gives me an error.

I can move from one directory on my Onboard Drive to another Directory on my Onboard drive. I can also Move from one directory to another on my SD Card.

But I can't move from my Onboard Drive to SD Card, or vice versa.

Anybody else having this problem? Is there another file manager I can get that'll do this?

Works for me. Your on-board memory is up one directory from the home directory in a folder called "emmc." It took a bit of sleuthing to figure that out.

I just tried this to merge the folders together before seeing this posting and it said Move Failed and deleted the files from the original location and didn't move them to the correct destination. Is there any way to get them back?

If you mean like a "recycle bin" , dont think so

you could try google , recover deleted files on android/linux

or look on astro website for forum

Estrongs does more. Try it.
I know I'm late to the party on this one, but Astro just recently added 'cloud storage' on their latest update. It is so crippled now! The lag is incredible, so even though I only used it to browse wireless files on the home computer, I'm going to 'learn' how to use it to replace Astro.
Sometimes, changes just aren't improvements.
