Non-HTC 4G toggle widget?

One of the first things I did when I got my Evo was turn off HTC Sense - can't stand its gaudy widgets and general bloat.. However, one thing I am missing is HTC's little toggle widgets - particularly the one that lets you turn on/off 4G. The native Android toggle widget doesn't let you control 4G.

Does anyone know any 3rd-party / alternative widgets to toggle 4G? Given that it's the first 4G phone, they probably don't exist.. but it would be cool if someone with know-how could develop one!

Hey guys,

I'm currently working on this. Hope to be done by the end of the day. Will be posting it to the Market for 99 cents, but it'll also be available for free download on xda-devs.

I'm currently just aiming for a 1x1 widget that toggles 4G on and off. Nothing fancy. Does that sound like a good plan?

thx 4 this but i dont get why it will cost 99cents but also be free

How is this coming along...I'm so close to setting Launcher Pro as my default. :D

I am also trying to get the developer of 'Setting Profiles' app to add support for 4G toggle. If I could control 4G via 'Setting Profiles' - that would be even more useful than a stand-alone widget.

Anyone who wants to see this - go to this website, login with with your Google ID, and add your votes for this feature:

Great plan. Need this too. Is it ready?

It's ready! I'm not sure what the linking policy is here so I hope it's alright to post this link:
4G Widget w/Sense disabled - xda-developers

As promised you can get it there for free. One bug I'm aware of right now is that the widget isn't exactly centered in its area. Working on fixing that, but functionality-wise it is 100% working.
