Beautiful Live Weather: Very Cool Live Wallpaper

IF you don't have Beautiful Widgets installed, the wallpaper isn't unlocked, just a caveat that doesn't seem to be spelled out anywhere. Otherwise, remember, this is a Live Wallpaper, not a widget or an app, took me a few times to remember that to find it and where it was located (under Live Wallpapers).

The settings are very straightforward. The getting rid of grass animationn to lower CPU cycles (I assume to lower battery usage) is very appreciated. Other than that, it's a very good application.

Other than that, the Wallpaper works as advertised. Haven't had it installed long enough to know how much of a memory hog it is, but will updatew hen I do.

I tried running it on my Droid Incredible with LauncherPro latest and Beautiful Widgets (no other widgets, I'm a minimalist) and it looked absolutely stunning but caused my phone to run like a dog. LauncherPro was a slideshow and often FC'd on me. Even using those settings tweaks to lower CPU consumption didn't help. I'm chalking it up to the LW being an early beta, I hope this improves. There's nothing cooler than a live wallpaper with current weather data and sun/moon positions plus the breezy grass!

How accurate is the weather compared with, say weather bug?

The wallpaper is stunning, and the weather is very accurate. the wallpaper is a freakin battery RAPIST... I had to turn it off. occasionally I turn it on while charging, just to look at it.
