Incredible altered to use Touchstone?

So considering that the EVO was just got altered to use the touchstone charger for the Palm. What are the chances that someone will try it on the incredible. I like the idea of just plopping the phone on the charger instead of plugging it in.

That would be pretty cool, but I have never heard of the EVO being modded to do that. Can you post a link?

Don't they have them at best buy that plug into the Mini-USB port? Get that and then get a mini-micro adapter, and you're all set.

I could do that.. but not worth losing warranty for. Root can be undone.. that cannot.

I gathered that it would only mess it up when it was on the charger. If the phone was off the charger everything is fine.

Its not that its hard. Its just more convenient to drop it on the charger than to plug it in.

what would be sweet would to have that in the car.

I have a Chevy Truck with that nice big rubber flat piece on the center console to put stuff (mainly electronics). If I could turn that into a charger and just drop my phone and other electronics on to charge, I'd be in heaven.

At home, I wouldn't care about plugging/unplugging. Heck it might even get annoying if I needed to charge it but had to talk on the phone, however in the car this is a great solution, as I wouldn't have to unplug/plug the phone in while trying to drive.
