Help Programs auto opening

I just got my Evo the other day and have been using advanced task killer app, and I notice that if I close certain app, like photobucket, amazon mp3 store, that they among a few other will just open back up and start running again. I have my background data turned off to save battery life. I live in a 4G market and this phone EATS battery power. Im lucky to get 5-6 hours our of the battery. Can someone explain why these rouge apps keep opening after I close them?

i'm having this problem too.. usually QIK, voice dialer, amazon mp3 store... i close with ATK .. then next time i check ATk it opens up again

i read through that thread and understand the argument against task killers and i will go ahead and do that.. but i'd still like to know WHY those things open on their own

are you suggesting ATK opens them?

I think what hes saying is that the OS opens these into cache so when you do choose to use them they don't have to start from scratch causing less battery usage. I for one could understand if I used the programs the OS putting them in cache but I have no need for the Amazon MP thing and its really annoying when it just opens. Looks like rooting is the only way to completely remove these bloatware programs sprint added in.
