So what's the change log? The laundry list above of all the stuff doesn't highlight what's new in 0.2 and why we'd want to try it...I know majority of people will just jump on this anyway, but I'm curious what's changed... :)

Changelog is at the bottom of the OP. And I'll reproduce it here. http://droidtc.com/pete/ROM/changelog.txt Believe me, it's worth trying!

Thanks...guess I missed that.

The overclocking and install apps to SD card are both items that I'd really like to be toggles so you can choose. If there isn't an obvious setting available, is there a way to turn either of those features off?

You can turn off the default where apps install to the SD card by typing the following into terminal:

pm setInstallLocation 1

Once you type that in, you should still have the option in Settings>Applications>Manage Applications to move apps to the SD card one by one.

You can edit the install-recovery.sh file to scale down the max frequency, or use SetCPU.

I've been testing it all day and giving Pete feedback, so I had a little bit of foreknowledge!

Ahhh. Well tell him this then:

*Reboot: hold power & volume down button
*Reboot Recovery: hold power & volume down button

I am guessing *one* of those should be volume up?

Geez, twist my arm! :p

OK, so I am a little late to using Pete's BB FroYo, bu am I to understand that BB automatically enabled app installing to SDCard location (assuming, also, that it only does this for apps that already have Apps2SD support built in)? Also, if that is true, then I suppose that if I were to have an app automagically moved to the SD card I would use the same procedure to move it to the phone as I do now with the apps I have on the SDCard?

I just tried this, and every time I went into my messaging app, it would reboot my phone.. note.. I didn't wipe data first and came from the original frf57 release. Gonna wipe and retry later.

Im I doing something wrong. I wiped and now the apps wont install by themselves. only the ones I purchased show up in market. :(
