Auto Convert/Sync Movies & Music to EVO 4G with DoubleTwist!!!!

Just wanted to give you ya'll a heads up on a program thats been around but all may not be familiar with named DoubleTwist. Its a FREE PC program that will auto convert video to the correct codec & framerate of the EVO (& other devices). The program also syncs music & pics as well. Its basically best described as iTunes for Android. Check it out:

looks cool. i have a real player program that does the same thing. even converts flash based videos/audio to something compatible for my pre.

Yeah, DoubleTwist is good if you must have everything automatically transcoded and synced. It's not the best option if you like more control over things but for those who just can't get away from the whole iTunes sync model, it's great.

I'm liking DT even more than iTunes because as you said, DT not only syncs but TRANSCODES as well.

Using the DoubleTwist app in the Market as my music/video player & liking it more than the stock media player.

I use DoubleTwist to sync my existing iTunes library. I won't trash my iTunes and start anew, I'll just purchase future music elsewhere now.

Nice, but it is super slow, syncing with the EVO. And I'm having problems for it to update when I add new files to the folders like video, I also tried to change the video source and DT will not change to that folder. If anyone has done this. How did you do it.
All I want is to create a specific folder for video for evo. But I do it and it doesn't. Change.

Really? All the video's I covert/sync are pretty fast. Remember that this converts then sync's on the fly. Also, all my video's I have are placed in only my "video" folder.
