WTF i would have rather bought the X

who the freak pissed in your cheerios. i am simply stating i would have rather bought the X instead of the Incredible. i am buying the X when it comes out at full retail. i think 4.4 is the largest that would be ok to carry. i also think overall motorola builds a better phone. a little concerned with BLUR but we'll see. so go f yourself

WTF? Did someone force you to buy another phone?

In the time it took you to write this thread you could have been at the gym working out in anticipation of lugging that Moto X around all day.

So when you purchased your Inc you didn't think other phones (possibly better) would come out over time? Wow Nostradamus couldn't have seen that coming...

And let me guess after you buy the Moto X a few months later you will post again about how you should have waited for the Moto X Blur 2 with 2.5 GB Snapcrackle Processor?

the X looks like a beast, both good beast and bad beast. it really does look like an awsome phone but i don't know until i hold one if it is "too big". i define too big as not being able to use the phone with one hand (getting thumb to other side of screen). the evo i can just barely do it but the X has some big bezel going on that the evo doesn't but i don't think people can comment either way until someone gets to hold and play with the phone. although the couple of phones with motoblur on it i have used,,, motoblur was horrible, especially compared to sense but some of the new launchers out can make quick work of using motoblur or its newer versions.

Well this is one thing iPhone users don't have to worry about. A newer, better, faster, stronger iPhone isn't always on the brink of coming out. Once a year.

While I love seeing new and better phones announced seemingly every week, it's difficult to decide on one phone without worrying it'll be instantly outdated. I haven't been real impressed with any moto phone I've ever owned really, but I love the original droids build quality so I hope the X has a similar feel. Looks nice. I'd definitely take it over the Inc but as far as the Evo is concerned it's still up in the air until I can play with it.

really?
outdated?
the frickin original droid is better than the iphone.
as long as u get a phone with over 600mhz, for the average user thats good!
if u a power user, 1ghz and root will keep your phone future proof.

I don't mean that it's instantly unusable. It's not going to get any worse. What I mean is that there's already a better spec'd snappier phone coming down the pipeline when you sign your 2 year contract. I still think the original droid is a great phone. I still think the g1 is a good phone, but it is outdated. That's just the nature of the mobile phone world right now. I'll still love my Evo when Motorola releases their 2 GHz phone, but it doesn't mean I won't be a little jealous.

yes. that is what im banking on. After reading the many posts regarding htc's build quality and the poor excuse of a stock battery on the inc, i am getting the X. Of course the cpu, screen and 2.2 offerings are icing on the cake as well.

i disagree. the g1 is no longer a Good phone. for that kind of money i would get the droid. The motodroid can handle a 1ghz overclock making its longevity much better than the slowass g1.

I don't think he is saying anything about these being outdated compared to the iphone. If you look at the droid, yes it is still a great phone but it is outdated compared to newer phones being released. I take this as a pro & a con, it is awesome that new android phones are coming out but at the same time some people feel like this brand new expensive new phone is no longer the best a month later.

I know, I know there is always a better phone coming out, but what he was saying is that with the iphone they know that their phone is the best iphone they can buy until next year a new one will come out.

Personally I will take new android phones coming out every month, this makes competition better, HTC vs Motorola vs Samsung(EVO vs X vs Galaxy S).
