Help No you're in the right forum... Dust under the screen!?

So was wiping my Moment's screen down this afternoon while it was turned off, and why won't this little speck of white dust come off... Awh what the *$&% is that a M*%&@# *+&#@!#& dust spec under my glass!

Sure enough is I think. I can't believe it. What does a dead pixel look like. Is it small and white against the unpowered screen?

If I got my phones on the 9th is it to late to take them back?

A dead pixel won't show up if the screen is off. This would be the first time I've heard of dust under the screen on Moment, make sure it's not something sticking the the outter layer. Use a bit of water (damp microfiber cleaning cloth) if needed.

lol ur freaking out cuz of a spec of dust got under the screen. imo i could care less. a dead pixel wouldn't even phase me. if its a dead pixel im sure u can take it back and exchange it for a new one.

A dead pixel on a nice shiny new $200 phone with an amoled would piss me off. I don't have any dust collecting anywhere on my phone so far, despite just dropping it into my jeans pocket after each use. I'd like a screen protector, but other than that it seems pretty tough and well-sealed.

Have you used any canned air on your phone?

Yeah kinda. Mostly because I just returned a Hero with working GPS for this phone because it had so much dust under the glass (and visual keyboard to be fair).

Nope it is for sure under the screen. I haven't used canned air or anything, just t-shirts.
