Is there a sleep mode? or something similar?

So, I have left my almost fully charged Evo on my nightstand the past couple of nights without plugging it in, and when I wake up in the morning, my battery is almost fully drained. One night I did have the 4G on, but the other night I did not. Is there some sort of setting or sleep mode so it doesnt drain the battery when I am asleep?

Check the battery status and see what is devouring your power. Also, if you have Wi-Fi in your house, turn the Wi-fi to be on all the time, as Wi-Fi actually used MUCH LESS power than the cellular data.

You might also want to check your sync options as your phone might have been updating all night. Take some time to really go through your settings and adjust all the sync options for your optimal use. Just bear in mind that it does directly affect your battery life, so the more frequently you have it set to update the more battery it will chew up.

This can be very much true. If you have sync on for emails every 10 minutes then the phone never goes to sleep because the data service never shuts down.

I turned down the sync for the stuff I dont need in a timely manner (kept email at 10 minutes) and under my battery setup cellular standby and sleep are the vast majority of my battery uses.
