I was opposite, since had a M Droid for a month and liked it a lot (except keyboard- weak IMO, though better than nothing), but had to return, since Tmo would not let me bail from my contracts. Tmo finally caved, since coverage in my area is actually worse now. As I could now bail without paying, I went to get the Droid again, but the BB store was out of stock (ironic). The BB store had an Incredible (launch week) that they said I could try and if I did not like it, return it for the Droid when in stock.
Luv the game emulators, so wanted a keyboard (Droid) again, but went ahead and tried the Inc anyway during the hype. I ended up keeping the Inc for the following reasons:
1. There is 3.5 times the app storage space without needing to root and 2.2 and app updates to use apps2sd will take months. I like the app space built-in anyways.
2. Much faster (even compared to Droid rooted)
3. FM radio
4. 6.6gb of free media space
5. 512mb rom is used only for OS and stock apps. Third party apps goe in the 748mb of allocated flash memory.
6. Having Flash for about four months extra months is nice
7. Twice the ram
8. Already can USB tether (with app), have plenty of app space and have speed without a need to root.
9. Besides Contra type games and intense shooters, the touch controls work much better than expected with the Oid emus.
10. I have one video and one mp3 loaded 16gb microsd (two), so like being able to hotswap them and not have to shut down and remove the battery.
Still, the one biggy for me is Flash games. The Droid has the d-pad that is mapped as the arrow keys. A lot of games need arrow keys to work. Also, I still prefer the Droid's LCD screen for web browsing and the radio signal is a little better (in spite of what Inc fanboys say).
Either device (Droid or Inc) is great, regardless.

I still plan on getting a Droid though, since they should be fairly easy to get for a good price soon (Droid 2 and Shadow coming). Droid with Gamegripper for all the emulators makes a GREAT old school game system
