Root Froyo users, I'm assuming everyone's gallery is uber-unstable

Right? Does anyone have a 100%, perfectly stable gallery? Because, oy vey, my gallery has been glitch-tastic since I started flashing Froyo ROMs. Just changing wallpapers is a major pain in the rear.:(

I guess I wont have a stable gallery until the 2.2 source code hits the AOSP. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!

Yeah, I doubt the kernel has much to do with it - unless the kernel you are using isn't ramping up quickly enough and the gallery is crapping out because of that.

That really does sound like what could be happening. I'm using this kernel: P3Droids 2.6.32.9. This is overclocked at 1.25 Ghz and works flawlessly with Froyo. My gallery has had no issues whatsoever.

I Am running Kangerades w/ P3's 1.25ghz atm and yes... if i even Dare to Flick across all the pictures before they are completely loaded... Boom... reboot.

What an odd coincidence. I was just about to report that after flashing Kangerade, I have a stable gallery (so far, at least) for the first time since flashing Froyo roms.

But then again, I didn't change the kernel (i.e., I stayed with the kernel that comes with Kangerade). I flashed the green theme.

EDIT: Nevermind. The gallery still has some weird quirks. Oh well. This will be a non-issue when the source code is released.
