i just wanted to shout this out i have been using the new tether that used to be tetherberry now its just tether.com i am using it now on the evo and wow i was testing it out on netflix, tv.com, hulu.com and wow didnt miss a beat this thing is fast and its on 3g

right now its free they are still in betta testing anyone wanting to try this out better than pdanet

from your pc download tether.com/a/setup.exe
if it ask to reboot wait until the installer is fully finished

from your phone settings, applications, development, and check usb debugging

from the phone download:
tether.com/a/tether.apk

run tether on pc and select android, then usb for a connection method
then connect phone to pc
wait till the drivers install
then run tether on your evo
give it a couple seconds or so you should see the data being sent now start browsing
enjoy

RANT ALERT

When you get the message that the drivers fail to install like I did on all my boxes except my win7box and the get the message that you may need to re-run the install and you keep getting the same drivers fail to install message this means you will get the 67 error message when you try to connect with your Evo.

Ya this works fine on my win7 box, bot i get the 67 error message on my xp box. When i google the 67 error it says to download the droid SKD and install it and it will update the drivers and this will solve the driver problem, but when I try and install the SKD on my xp box I get some bozo JAVA error message.

There has to be some way for the tether guys to post the droid tether driver for down load and make this whole thing a lot easier.
